As an informal student of fine art since childhood, Sue Dixon transfers the beauty, serenity and joy of God’s creation onto her canvas. With a passion for color and form, she brings joy to those who view her work. She has been a student of Jeff Legg and Barbara Courtney. Her paintings have been exhibited at Spiva Center for the Arts, Twin Hills Country Club of Joplin, and are in private collections. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the Missouri Citizen for the Arts and A Governing Director of Spiva Center for the Arts. Having created, initiated, and orchestrated many art auctions, her passion is to promote, educate and advocate for the arts.
